Co-located Events with IEEE ICC 2013
National Instruments Software Defined Radio Hands-On Session
As a co-located event with IEEE ICC 2013, National Instruments cordially invites you to the technical session:
Software Defined Radio Hands-On Session.
Why Is it Worth Joining Our Free Hands-on?
- you will be introduced to the concept of Software Defined Radio on an example of Universal Software Radio Peripheral (USRP) from National Instruments, an affordable, flexible radio that turns a standard PC into a wireless prototyping platform.
- you will get insight into the other RF measurement platforms, including vector signal generators, vector signal analyzers, vector network analyzers, vector signal transceiver (VST) and other instruments allowing to build non-standard RF solutions.
- you will be able to get hands on with our technologies, learning the basics of the LabVIEW environment and applying this knowledge to develop an RF receiver and demodulator on the USRP platform (ni.com/usrp).

Agilent Workshop - A Novel Wideband DPD Measurement Platform using SystemVue
Agilent invites you for a free technical workshop on Digital Pre-Distortion for LTE & LTE-A using SystemVue & Agilent Instruments.
Abstract
Power amplifier linearization using digital pre-distortion (DPD) techniques is critical for designers transitioning 3G systems to 3.9G and 4G. This workshop introduces the concept behind digital pre-distortion and DPD measurement platform. A novel DPD measurement method is proposed, which uses baseband input and PA output to extract the DPD model. This method can linearize the full RF transmitter system (ADC, up-converter, pre-amplifier and power amplifier and etc) instead of only PA. Experimental tests confirms the effectiveness of this novel DPD measurement method.
